2009 Fund for the Future
New Funding
Opportunity
MeHAF announces the
Fund for the Future, a new pilot
funding program.
The goal of Fund for the Future is to
improve the health of Maine
people through projects or activities that reach beyond the delivery of
clinical health care services. MeHAF will
support projects that acknowledge and support the role of
the community and broader environment in promoting health.
Fund for the Future Grant
Opportunity
:
The funding opportunity is being viewed as a laboratory
to seed new ideas, frame new approaches, foster new relationships, and expand
promising projects. Does your community
have a priority health issue that can be addressed in new and creative ways,
with community partners from different sectors?
Are you an organization whose work does not have a direct focus in
health care, but could be considered health-related? Do you have a promising project already
underway that could increase in scale and scope or add community partners?
We
want to hear from you.
