MeHAF announces a new request for proposals (RFP), issued September 14, 2017. This RFP solicits applications for rural communities to develop collaborative, multi-sector partnerships and engage members of the local community to catalyze innovative care delivery strategies that aim to improve and strengthen their local rural health system with an eye toward sustaining access to essential services in the long term. This opportunity is open to organizations located within or serving one or more rural communities where in-patient hospital services are limited to 25 or fewer beds or there are none.
MeHAF will fund up to five (5) one-year grants of up to $30,000 each. Successful grants may be eligible to compete in late 2018 for up to three (3) one-year acceleration grants of up to $75,000.
