MeHAF announces our new Community Responsive Grants Program (CRG); a funding opportunity providing grants of $10,001 - $50,000 to support community-led projects that align with MeHAF's Strategic Goals and advance health equity. The program is one move MeHAF is making toward more responsive grantmaking. The goal of our CRG is to allow those closest to any community to identify specific needs and opportunites, and to propose their best ideas.
The CRG will interpret the idea of community broadly. A community, for any entity looking to apply, will be considered a group of people with a shared identity, a common cause, a geographic location, populations with similar health and health access need, or in other ways.
We ask applicants to respond with an initial Letter of Inquiry (LOI) as the first step in the two stage process. Based on review of LOIs, a subset of organizations will be invited to submit full proposals.

Grants will range from $10,001 to $50,000 for one-year projects.
