  • MeHAF on Maine Watch
    The October 8th edition of Maine Watch, hosted by Jennifer Rooks, focused on the issues of promoting better oral health in rural Maine.  The program highlighted the work of oral and dental health care organizations that have received MeHAF grant funding, with a special emphasis on the Washington County-based Tooth Ferry.  Drs. Wendy Wolf, William Alto of the Maine Dartmouth Family Residency Program, and Timothy Oh of the Maine Coast Community Dental Clinic in Ellsworth shared their perspectives on how oral health in Maine can be improved by expanding Maine's dental workforce, improving reimbursement through the MaineCare program, expanding the role of other health providers in oral health care, and ensuring primary prevention is a high priority for Maine's children and adults.   more...
