WENDY J. WOLF, MD, MPH Dr. Wendy J. Wolf is the President and CEO of the Maine Health Access Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation in November 2001, Dr. Wolf worked for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) where she served as a Senior Advisor to the Administrators of both the Health Resources and Services Administration and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. Dr. Wolf graduated from the Ohio State College of Medicine, and completed her pediatric residency and fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. BARBARA A. LEONARD, MPH Barbara Leonard came to MeHAF in October 2007 as senior program officer, after several years of public health consulting nationally and in Maine. Barbara has nearly 20 years’ experience in public health program development, administration, management and evaluation, with special interest in chronic diseases, women’s health and policy approaches to improving health. KIM CRICHTON, ESQ. Kim Crichton, Esq., joined the Maine Health Access Foundation in 2003 as a Program Officer. Before joining the Foundation, she worked in Maine as a lobbyist and advocate on health care policy issues for Planned Parenthood of Northern New England and was the Director of Operations for a statewide election campaign. In addition to her work in Maine, Ms. Crichton worked in Washington, DC in the policy, advocacy, and legal communities. CATHERINE LUCE Catherine Luce, Grants Associate, was previously the Foundation’s Administrative Assistant. Prior to joining MeHAF, she served as the Office Manager and bookkeeper for Consumers for Affordable Health Care Foundation. MAGGIE RICKER Maggie recently returned to Maine from Richmond, Virginia and joined the MeHAF staff in April 2004. She has a diverse background working as an advocate and organizer for Maine women, children, people challenged with mental illness and survivors of sexual assault. Prior to joining MeHAF, Maggie worked for Maine Commission for Women, Catholic Charities Maine, and Maine Children's Alliance. She was the original board president of the Augusta Rape Crisis and Support Center. LULU MINI SCHNAUZER Lulu is an 4 year old Mini Schnauzer who has taken on the tremendous responsibility of keeping the MeHAF staff in good cheer. She has extensive experience (especially for one so young)in barking delightedly when a friend comes to the door. Lulu is highly skilled at chasing both toys and people around the office. Fearless in her search of a stressed out staff person, Lulu will bravely present herself, pull toy in hand, at the office door of any staff person and will stare at them, big blue eyes wide, fluffy ears cocked forward, and tiny tid bit of a tale wiggling.
