Maine Integrated Health Initiative: Maine People Speak About Healthcare Integration

Winter 2007 Nearly 1,500 Maine residents from across the state participated in 160 discussion groups to learn more about people's understanding of and expectations for care integration.  Consultants John Snow, Inc guided the research design and data analysis.  Among the more interesting findings is that most people do not know that mental and physical health care providers could work together, nor understand why they should.  Download report.

June 2007.  This consumer navigation guide for elders involved in health care transitions was created as part of a grant to the Regional Medical Center at Lubec to support the Northern Maine Health Network's transitions with care project.
